The worst television in the world.

"On a daily basis, I make use of machines and devices without having any idea how they work. Still, I'm not very impressed by that. I take the magical things they are capable of for granted. That's why I wanted to see if I could make one
of these devices myself. I chose to make a television. The requirement was that I could only use the knowledge and skills that I already have. It resulted in a television with 600 pixels, no colors, and you had to do your best in order to
recognize what it was showing. This was without any doubt the worst television
in the world, so there was still a lot to develop. With a much higher resolution, I present to you the second worst television in the world."

- Divera Bender

A humorous work in which a complex solution is devised for a non-existent problem. Through its handmade, almost makeshift reconstruction, the viewer becomes aware of the mysteries in their immediate surroundings — how many everyday objects do you actually truly understand?

What’s remarkable is that there is indeed a video to be seen — but in a way that reconsiders the entire definition of ‘video’. It not only shows the image, but also the process behind it.
