Das Ding's music is characterized by powerful and dark electro sounds. Some tracks are highly danceable and addictive, while others are more suited for listening at home. In 2010, his music regained the spotlight when Minimal Wave, a label specializing in reissues of 1980s synth-wave, released a remastered version of his album 'HSTA' and other tracks. This led to a renewed interest in his work and requests for live performances. After two decades, Das Ding decided to return to the music scene, now with a revised lineup and an adapted setup that reflected technological changes. He was regarded as a 'Dutch electro pioneer' and a prominent figure in the 'Minimal Wave' genre.
