Fani Konstantinidou is a composer and live-electronics performer interested in the sonic imprints of cultural and cross-cultural identities. She composes electronic music based on urban, rural, and digital sonic environments often combined with musical instruments. Her music is characterized by shifting sonic textures that circulate between drones, noise, arrhythmic melodies, and atonal rhythms. Through her work she explores the antithesis between analog versus digital, and she exploits the potential of musical time and space through site-specific and multichannel performances. Her latest solo album, Bacterial Dance, is distributed by the record label Decaying Spheres.
