In The bed-inter-views, Perek focuses on the anthropology of the bed as a point of entry into her cultural analysis. The piece engages with forms such as manifestos and interviews, searching for possible positions of fine art and performance art in relation to collective (political and artistic) memory.
The bed-inter-views, 2023, is a provocative performance work where the individual voices of the artist and the audience intertwine. It is yet another attempt by Perek to create an intimate and personal perspective on what is considered a Safe Space, while exploring the subject of freedom of expression in the public eye.
