The folky indie-emo songs of &The originated after a swooning incident of friends named Joost van Berlo, John Hill and Paqui van de Mull. The surprising effect between the guitar, the mandolin and the wide range of Paqui's voice transports the listener to sonic atmospheres. The songs deal with classic themes of love and death, making &The a thoughtful musical act on the opening day of murf/murw 2023.
