YZ is an electronic musician, multidisciplinary artist and sound designer based in Brussels. Using a variety of approaches and influences, he creates musical performances, sound installations and visual works. His live solo work – known as YZ – focuses on reconciling apparent inconsistencies: sacred music, and ancient singing styles with electronic music, rhythms and sounds that are rooted in the experimental, clubbing and techno scene. In 2016, YZ released an LP under the Belgian music label Lexidisque.
