Arnold de Boer, also known as Zea (a member of The Ex), has a versatile musical career. Zea started as a five-piece band in the 1990s but later evolved into a dynamic solo project. De Boer has released seven albums with Zea, including the recent album "SUMMING" in collaboration with pianist Oscar Jan Hoogland. Through his own label, Makkum Records, he not only releases his own music but also showcases other unique artists from around the world. With performances across various continents, including Asia, Africa, and South America, De Boer has established a strong position as an influential musician in the alternative music scene through his grassroots approach and international connections.
