Jumpstyle: generally seen as a marginal dance style from the 1990s is given areinterpretation.
An empty steel factory figures as a practice space for a dancer perfecting his choreography. The open spaces serve as a sound box for the rhythm of the dance. Personal YouTube videos introduce other members of the group who are on their way to this gathering. The combination of the costumes, the haunting voice of an opera singer, and a menacing soundtrack create a mysteriously oppressive atmosphere.
Novaciéries portrays the post-industrial world by reinterpreting an internet dance.
