We are proud to present a collaboration between installation duo WithWit and writer Michiel Cox. They will use all the exhibition spaces in Kunstpodium T to tell a visual and auditory story.

WIThWIT was founded in 2014 by Erki De Vries and Freija Van Esbroeck, both known for their visual work and their scenographies for dance and theatre. WIThWIT supports a range of visual activities (theatre, performances, installations, exhibitions). In collaboration with artists from various disciplines, WIThWIT creates experimental visual work.

Michiel Cox studied at the University of Antwerp and the Maastricht Theater Academy. He wrote short pieces and travel stories for De Standaard and published in various literary magazines. In 2019 he made his debut with the novel Messias van niks, which was nominated for the Anton Wachter Prize. He lives and works in Rotterdam and was inspired by events from the city’s recent past when writing his second novel, Herinneringen aan het levenloze (2022).
